Taking a picture with your camera pointed in the direction of the sun is quite hard. You have diminished visibility so it is hard to see what you are shooting at. It would just be better if you keep your lens hood on. However, if you want to create an artistic photo it exactly what you should do. Remove your lens hood and shoot away.
